Baptist News is an independent, faith-based news site. In 2016, they started the process of a brand update to more closely match their personality and solve some usability problems on their site.
I developed an approachable brand mark, and modernized their website, giving them real credibility in the market. One of the major shifts was to focus on readers who landed on the site from a variety of entry points, rather than the home page.
The Result: Within months of launching the new brand, their site saw more than 2x growth in traffic, and began seeing mainstream success.
