		<description>Its rather simple really...  Mac hardware is far more expensive than its beige box counter part...  and pc&#039;s are compatible with far more after market upgrades.

You can buy a windows workstation, albeit not top of the line, for a couple hundred to a thousand of dollars, while if you want that with a mac then you have to shell out atleast 2 grand for an upgradable powermac.</description>
