Before you start reading you need to know that yes, I am biased. My opinions are not entirely uncalled for since I did grow up using Windows and only recently switched to Mac, so I do know what XP is like. Now that we got that out of the way, lets continue:
Many people, mainly in IT style jobs, tell us that Windows is better than OSX. What we have not heard is why. Other than the “OSX doesn’t run my application” argument, is there really a good reason to run Windows over OSX? I could be wrong, but I think the argument is that Windows works better in a large scale network enviroment. I have yet to hear a good reason why they think that. Is there something from an administrator’s point of view such as remote desktop type operations that OSX doesn’t support?
Can someone help me out and tell me why most people don’t want to run a much simpler, prettier, stabler, faster, and more intuitive OS?

Its rather simple really… Mac hardware is far more expensive than its beige box counter part… and pc’s are compatible with far more after market upgrades.
You can buy a windows workstation, albeit not top of the line, for a couple hundred to a thousand of dollars, while if you want that with a mac then you have to shell out atleast 2 grand for an upgradable powermac.

I’m not talking about price. I’m talking about people who say that windows itself is inherently better than OSX. I have a hard time understanding why they would think the OS itself is better.
