Windows is better?

OS Wars

Before you start reading you need to know that yes, I am biased. My opinions are not entirely uncalled for since I did grow up using Windows and only recently switched to Mac, so I do know what XP is like. Now that we got that out of the way, lets continue:

Many people, mainly in IT style jobs, tell us that Windows is better than OSX. What we have not heard is why. Other than the “OSX doesn’t run my application” argument, is there really a good reason to run Windows over OSX? I could be wrong, but I think the argument is that Windows works better in a large scale network enviroment. I have yet to hear a good reason why they think that. Is there something from an administrator’s point of view such as remote desktop type operations that OSX doesn’t support?

Can someone help me out and tell me why most people don’t want to run a much simpler, prettier, stabler, faster, and more intuitive OS?

More to this site

If you come here looking for some entertainment only to see that I haven’t posted in a while, there is more. You may not have noticed the sidebar to your left. If you click on any of the links under bookmarks it will take you to a page that I think is interesting. Some may be expired or not work by now, but some of them are way more interesting than my site, so go ahead and leave this site for other, more interesting websites.

Check this out!

This is a test. Let me know if it works in your browser. Trust me, you will know if it does.

Update:
From the browsers I have tested it seems to be working pretty well, so I’m starting the Work section of this site and I’m using the same method. Check out the Escape Band page to see it in action.
