Somehow I got to thinking about what we call our online writings, and I noticed that for a lot of people, the name doesn’t fit the content. For example, you are reading my “Journal,” but is that really what it is? Most of the stuff I write about is current events and technology, not about what’s going on in my life. Sure I write about that sometimes, but for the most part I don’t.
So what should our online writings be called? I thought about that for a while, and haven’t come up with anything good yet. What do you think? It has to be one word and needs to summarize what the writing is about.
Please note that “blog” stands for “web log”, and doesn’t fit the bill.
Blog, Journal, News Entry?

Because I don’t really write a log.

)
in english, for better or worse, words and their meanings are continually evolving.
think of it as a log of your journeys over the world wide web…. or something gay like that.

I think….Technolog. Except you wouldn’t pronounce it Techno-log. You’d pronounce it like technology without the Y. Then it could also say tech knowledge (I didn’t think of that until I said it out loud).
Or maybe….Well, all my good ideas are more than one word! Like “Writings from the heart” and “I’m an insane person writing weird things” and “Word.” Actually that last one is just one, uh, word.
I’m sorry. I’m in a weird. Mood. I’m in a weird mood.
